Playing: Finished career ranked in the top-10 in 11 statistical caregories, including seven spots in the top-five. Is ranked second in points (1,122.5), third in matches played (123), second in attacks (3,062), second in kills (961) and second in digs (989). During senior season at East Central, led team with 275 kills and 340 digs and was named to the All-Great American Conference second team.
Coaching: Help lead Blinn College to a No. 19 ranking and a 24-9 record, while entering the Region XIV Tournament as No. 1 seed. Coached many student athletes to post season honors from All-American, Setter of the Year, First-Team All-Conference, Second-Team All-Conference, and Honorable Mentions.
What is your favorite volleyball memory?
My all-time favorite volleyball memory is from my sophomore year of high school and Commerce’s reputation was always getting eliminated from playoffs the first round and we upset the team that had just went to state the year before in 5 sets.
Tell me about your family.
I am the middle child of 2 sisters. I have a 7-year-old niece. My dad is from Mississippi and my mom is from Texas. I was born in Greenville, TX and grew up in Commerce.
What advice would you give to volleyball players?
My advice to give to volleyball players is to always do more and love what you do. If you don’t love to play, you are less likely to want to put in any extra work to be the best.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is Thanksgiving food. Yum. I love turkey & dressing.
What college did you attend? Did you play a collegiate sport?
I played volleyball at East Central University and I played volleyball as an Outside Hitter.
What is something you’re good at outside of volleyball?
I think I am pretty good a creativity. I enjoy art and painting canvases for myself and others.
What is your favorite book?
I don’t really have a favorite book so I just consistently read scriptures of the Bible.

My favorite song is Unconditional Love by Tupac
If you could meet 3 famous people for dinner, who would they be and why?
If I could meet 3 famous I would meet Michael Jackson, Rihanna, & Oprah Winfrey. I would want to meet these people because they all look for ways to be different. I would think that dinner would be interesting and enjoyable. That even though they are famous, they would be down to earth.
Do you have a college degree? What was your field of study?
Yes. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training & also a Masters in Sports Administration
Why did you choose to coach at TAV Houston?
I chose to coach at TAV because it is going to continue to grow as a club and the coaches are good people always looking to learn.
